Guten Tag! I am Sthefon Tran and welcome to my humble abode of 10 weeks worth of writing dedication, in other words my ePortfolio for Writing 39C. Writing 39C has been a very interesting class since it encompasses on the theme of how to do things with videogames. This also happens to be the title of the main text of this class, "How to do things with Videogames," by Ian Bogost. The goal of this course is to incorporate the theme into our main two assignments: the Historical Conversations Project and Advocacy Project. Thus from there I decided to incorporate how games could affect the population decline in Japan for my HCP. Within my HCP, I brake down the historical context of Japan's population decline, how is it working in today's society, and how might video games tie into all of this. On the other hand, the AP assignment went even further than the HCP by discussing methods in which population decline could be solved in Japan and which solution is the most reasonable; however, this assignment does not take on the emphasis of video games as much as the HCP.  Of course, the progress and breakdown to my assignments can be seen in my reflection over the course of 10 weeks. Hopefully, through this I can share my progress and development that I have tried so hard through my struggle to revise my work.
